Rolling stock leasing

The rolling stock of the company SUNGATE includes 300 fitting platforms and 30 diesel power generating train cars. This stock allows carrying out transportations of universal dry containers and specialised transportations of tank containers and refrigerated containers.

Coupling gear for transportation of refrigerated containers

A coupling gear consists of several (from 1 to 18) fitting platforms equipped with a power supply line and sockets to connect refrigerated containers. Platforms are coupled together and connected with intercar cables forming a common electric line. A coupling gear includes a diesel power generating car (DPGP). It contains a diesel power station.

The car is also a part of the common electric line of the coupling gear. Refrigerated containers are installed on platforms and connected to sockets. The coupling gear is not disconnected on the whole itinerary. The DPGP supplies electric power to containers. It enables refrigeration units of the containers maintain required temperature regime. If necessary, environmental parameters (temperature, humidity) inside containers can be recorded and made available to the client. The DPGP is equipped with a living compartment for a team of two mechanics. Their task is to maintain the equipment on the way, solve emerging problems and ensure cargo safety.
